Earth Drum Council Weekend
Teachers and other details about the June 2003 Earth Drum Council Weekend are still being confirmed, and will be posted when they are available. What you can count on, though, is that we will be back at our long-time camp in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts. We will gather with some of the most fun, spirited, and talented drummers and dancers around. We will have a community- and family-oriented weekend where children are welcome and cared for, and hanging out and jamming together is just as important, if not more so, than becoming expert drummers. We will have some excellent teachers who are skilled at working with all levels of experience. We will have an intensive workshop day on Friday, June 13 with special guest teachers. We'll drum and dance around the fire at night, weather permitting. We'll have delicious food that we will all participate in preparing for each other. We will hold a Council where the heartsongs of everyone will be witnessed by the community. We will welcome people of all walks of life, all levels of drumming and dancing skill, all ages, racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, and we will especially welcome YOU if you are called to be there.
